Mobile Event Drafts and Publish Checklist

Create and autosave drafts from mobile, then move step-by-step through schedule, funding, advanced settings, and publish review.

1. Build the basic draft on the Create tab

Use the Create tab to enter the title, long-form description, categories, host workspace, optional custom slug, and cover image. Mobile validates the same core basics as web, including description length and slug conflicts.

The create flow autosaves locally and remotely. That means you can start a draft on your phone, step away, and continue from the same event later.

2. Finish the step pages instead of overloading the first screen

Use the hidden step screens intentionally: Checklist, When, Where, Funding, and Advanced. The funding screen manages ticket tiers, access type, goal, and 15 to 90 day sales windows.

The advanced screen handles visibility, private invite-only state, series or tour links, collaborator invites, beneficiary setup, and organizer-only extras that do not belong in the first-step basics form.

Checklist

  • - Basics saved first so the draft has an event id
  • - Schedule or flexible date state completed
  • - Funding and ticket tiers configured before opening the checklist
  • - Advanced settings reviewed for visibility, collaborators, and beneficiaries

3. Publish from the checklist, not from memory

Open the mobile Publish checklist to see blocking items like missing tickets, schedule, cover image, beneficiary approval, or invalid location details.

The checklist can route you directly to the correct edit step. Publish only when required items are complete; otherwise you will spend time bouncing between steps with avoidable errors.
