1. Understand your promotion balance
Open /dashboard/promotions to manage ad credits, promo-code redemption, purchased credit packs, and campaign lifecycle for the active workspace.
New organizers often start with welcome ad credits. Treat those as launch fuel for already-published events, not as a substitute for basic event readiness.
2. Launch campaigns from the right target
Promotions can target an event, organization, or profile depending on the workflow. For event growth, make sure the event is already live and the copy, cover, and ticket settings are stable before you spend credits.
After launch, monitor status changes such as active, paused, or ended so you do not leave spend running after the main audience window has passed.
3. Reconcile payouts and Stripe health
Open /dashboard/payouts for treasury visibility: Stripe balance, payout history, analytics, and the handoff into Stripe Express when deeper account management is needed.
If treasury reporting shows setup or verification issues, resolve them before your next paid launch. Promotions can increase demand, but payouts stay blocked if Stripe readiness is incomplete.
